The Cook Book Challenge Group’s next meeting is Tuesday July 26th at 11:30am. We’d love to see you there!
Stop by the library to pick up a copy of this month’s cook book, My Kitchen Year by Ruth Reichl. Sign up for one of the recipes you love. Make that recipe and bring it to our pot luck lunch on the 26th at 11:30am at the library! You’ll also want to bring your own place setting. It’s going to be a deliciously good time!

14 photos are on display in the front room of the library! We need you to vote on your favorite photo for the artwork for our new library cards! Voting is open through Thursday. Vote as often as you like between now and then! We’ll announce the winner on Friday!

Join us tomorrow from 10am to noon for a fun Hawaiian Lei craft!
More photos have been submitted and voting has been extended until next Thursday, the 21st. We’ll announce the winning photo on Friday the 22nd. You are welcome to vote as many times as you would like, so please feel free to stop by the library and vote again if you’ve already voted!

Join us tomorrow, July 14th, at 6:30pm for popcorn and a movie! We’ll be watching Disney’s Zootopia! Bring a chair, blanket or pillow to get comfortable. This is a free event and is open to the public!

Have you heard about the craze? Are you trying to catch them all? The Walpole Library is a Pokestop! Next time you’re in town stop by the library to stock up on Pokeballs and tell us which team you’re on!
No idea what I’m talking about? You know Pokemon as a kid’s animated television show and trading card game. Now it’s an app for your phone where you can catch Pokemon (pocket monsters) in real life! It’s pretty cool, and Justine would be happy to show you her Pokemon collection next time you’re at the library.

There are currently 5 photos on display at the library! Come on in and vote for your favorite! Have another photo to submit? We’ll continue taking submissions until 8pm tonight! Bring a print into the library or e-mail a file to Justine at jrogers@walpoletownlibrary.org
The photos will be on display until next Monday, the 18th. Be sure to vote for which photo you’d like to see used as the artwork for our new library cards and magnets!
We had a great time on Saturday with Miss Pickering! The kids who dropped by between 10am and noon got to make some fun galaxy (think Star Wars) themed crafts! And of course, they also got to see one of their favorite teachers! We’ll be doing another craft with Miss Pickering on July 30th from 10am to noon!

We’re looking for photos of the best view in Walpole and we need your help! E-mail a photo to Justine (jrogers@walpoletownlibrary.org) or drop a print off at the library! Everyone will be able to vote on their favorite photo next week and we’ll be using the winning photo for the artwork on our new library cards! We’ve extended the date to submit a photo until Monday. Go out this weekend and take an awesome picture from anywhere in Walpole, North Walpole or Drewsville. We can’t wait to see what you see!
