North Walpole CLOSED 11/1 & 11/2

A new transformer is being installed in North Walpole. Unfortunately the North Walpole Library will be closed today November 1st and tomorrow November 2nd while the work is being done. Sorry for any inconvenience but thank you for understanding!

Cook Book Group Potluck 10/25

Join us Tuesday the 25th at 6:30pm at the library for a fall themed potluck dinner! The Cook Book Challenge Group decided to forgo a selected cook book this month. Instead we’ll be making our favorite fall dishes for the dinner potluck! We can’t wait to try all the different recipes!


For next month, our meeting will be Tuesday November 29th. We’ll be making recipes from the cookbook Thanksgiving: How to Cook it Well by Sam Sifton. Hopefully this cookbook will help you with your Thanksgiving plans as well as with some leftovers to bring to the potluck! Copies will be available next week for check out at the library.

New Big Library Read

A few times each year Big Library Read chooses a book which they make available on Overdrive (New Hampshire Downloadable Books) without any wait time! The newest pick will be available from today, October 13th through October 27th.

October Cook Book Challenge Group

The Cook Book Challenge Group will meet for pot luck dinner on Tuesday October 25th at 6:30pm at the library. There is no official cook book this month, instead just make your favorite fall recipe for us! If you’d like to e-mail Justine so she can keep a headcount, please feel free to do so: jrogers@walpoletownlibrary.org. You can direct any questions to her as well!

Expansion Survey

The Library Board of Trustees is looking for some feedback about ideas on expanding the library. You’ll have a chance to fill this survey out in person at the post office on October 8th or online any time! Just click here and tell us what you think.
